Short CV

I obtained a masters degree in chemistry, specializing in inorganic coordination chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. From 1996 until 2005 I worked as a patent attorney for a company in fast moving consumer goods. I was responsible for patent portfolios for a variety of products. I also advised a biotech venture that was spin-out, on their IP position and managed their patent portfolio. Since beginning 2005 I work in Philips Intellectual Property and Standards where I am responsible for the patent portfolio in the field of healthcare.
