Frontiers of Cardiovascular Research: From Basic Concepts to Novel Approaches in Therapy and Prevention”

In collaboration with the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC, link: http://mdc-berlin.de) and the French National Alliance for Life Sciences and Health (Aviesan, link: http://www.aviesan.fr/en), the French Embassy in Germany is organising the first German-French Symposium “Frontiers of Cardiovascular Research: From Basic Concepts to Novel Approaches in Therapy and Prevention”.

This scientific meeting brings together leading scientists from key research institutions in Germany and France, giving them an opportunity to present the latest research findings in the area of cardiovascular research, explore the synergies and complementarities of scientific expertise, and thus foster the bilateral scientific collaboration.

This event is carried out within the framework of the celebration of the 50 years anniversary of the signing of the Elysée Treaty.

The Symposium consists of the following three thematic session:

  • Basic Concepts of Cardiovascular Research
  • Translational Concepts of Cardiovascular Research
  • New Concepts for Therapy and Prevention

The talks from the international experts will be complemented by a poster session, where early-career scientists – PhD students and post-doctoral fellows – will have an opportunity to present their own research.

There is no participation fee, however the registration is required.
