The ETP Nanomedicine and its partners organise the Nano World Cancer Day 2014 on 31st January. The objective of this pan-European event is to hold simultaneously several press conferences in different leading regions of Europe to emphasise the role of nanomedicine to fight cancer.

Beneficiating from the media coverage of the World Cancer Day (on 4th February), the goal of these press conferences is to obtain a wide visibility and raise awareness on the benefits of the diagnostic and the treatment options based on nanomedicine for patients suffering from cancer:

  • Where is the research?
  • What are the new methods of diagnosis and treatments in devel-opment?
  • What are the first results and benefits?
  • What are the products used every day?

While the 2013 edition took place in three locations (Paris, Braga and Berlin), the 2014 event will take place acroos 13 European countries, showing the increasing interest in this kind of event and the relevance of such format.

All the information regarding each press conference together with additional information about nanomedicine and cancer are to be found on the Nano World Cancer Day website:
