World Conference on Regenerative Medicine

The main topics of the conference are new stem-cell technologies, tissue engineering, biomaterials, diagnostics and the molecular basis of regeneration. A more detailed focus has been placed on regenerative therapies for neurological, cardiologic, oncologic and autoimmune diseases.

Bone, cartilage and skin defects are a special focus of tissue replacement. Moreover, the event aims to foster dialogue between researchers, clinicians and business representatives. The conference program therefore includes sessions on regulatory, economic and ethical aspects of regenerative medicine.

A new focus at this year’s conference is promoting the next generation of scientists. Special sessions have been reserved for young scientists and PhD students to present their work to an international audience.
