Up one levelThe next FP7 call on Health will be already published on 20 July rather than 30 July 2010. This was announced during an Open Information Day & Brokerage Event on FP7 Health Research on 8 June 2010 in Brussels.
Directorate F of the Research DG organized an Open Information Day & Brokerage Event on FP7 Health Research on 8 June 2010 in Brussels.
The aim of this event was to highlight the priorities, novelties and special features of the 2011 Work Programme. It provided guidance on proposal preparation and partnering.The web streaming of the event can be accessed here:

"... The final version of the 2011 Work Programme is due to be published in July 2010 through two calls for proposals (single-stage and two-stage), with an estimated total budget of approximately € 650 million (to be confirmed). Proposals will be evaluated in late 2010 and early 2011. The Work Programme foresees major efforts in brain-related diseases, diabetes and obesity, immunisation, epigenomics and social determinants of health, as well as other global health issues, such as anti-microbial drug resistance and emerging epidemics. Cross-cutting features of the 2011 Work Programme include a number of topics for clinical trials and SME-targeted topics that foresee a major role for the SME(s) involved in each project...."
