General Assembly 2009

This year's General Assembly of the ETP for Nanomedicine was  successfully held in Münster on 11-12 May. The main priority of the meeting was to discuss and comment the technology & application driven roadmaps identified at the ETP's Expert Workshop earlier this year.

Gathered in the town hall of the historic city center of Münster participants from industry, academia and European Commission had the opportunity to share and give additional information on roadmaps for the working groups regenerative medicine, drug delivery and diagnostics. The contributions resulting from the moderated discussions are used to improve and append the final report that will be submitted to the European Commission to guide the drafting of future calls of FP7.

Roadmaps in Nanomedicine towards 2020

After months of intensive discussions between experts from industry and academia, the new report on "Roadmaps ind Nanomedicine towards 2020" is now in its pre-final stage.

In February 2009 experts from industry and academia across  Europe, together with European Commission representatives, gathered in Brussels to make the first steps to identify application and product driven R&D roadmaps in the area of Nanomedicine. After revising and updating the received information during the General Assembly 2009 the report is now in a pre-final stage and ready to be commented by the ETP members for the last time before publication.
